If I start recording and don’t touch my phone for a while, Pocket stops recording and doesn’t save the recording that was started.

You’ll hear a double beep.
The status light changes from amber (recording) to blue (idle).
No. Pocket records independently. The app can’t pause or stop a recording by itself even if your phone is off, locked, or not nearby.
The only way to stop is by pressing Stop on Pocket Device (or using the stop button in the app).
I’ve pressed record, the light turns amber to indicate recording, and it will turn blue to indicate not recording after some time on its own. At first, it was disconnecting from my phone. I updated the firmware and that issues seems to have fixed. However, it continues to stop recording on its own.

Yes. Same issue here. Pocket will just lose connection in the middle of a recording. Sometimes the portion of what was recorded is saved and in some instances it’s not so the entire recording is lost. Happened multiple times yesterday during a meeting and again this morning.
