What’s the first thing you’ll record with your Pocket?

A presentation on “Offensive Security: Custom tooling in C and Python so something is extensible, maintainable, and modular.” along with an actual discussion about Patching known CVE/CVSS in Publicly Available Firmware.

I plan to use it in my day to day at work, but also 2026 planning meetings with stakeholders. They tend to be big brain dumps from everyone and can make it hard to keep track of every idea. Hoping Pocket will help with all of it.

I’m hoping Pocket will bring me one step closer to having the protocol droid I’ve been needing to follow me around, my entire Boss Life. :robot:

“Sustain this behavior” lol!!! Love it! Hope you share more info as you use it because we all think differently…perhaps help each other out with new concepts that are improving things?!

I’ll be using for work calls and brainstorming, in personal life for journaling and long podcast breakdowns.

I’ve got a hackathon at my company I’m running and this is going to be an incredible way to capture notes and still be engaged

@tlhelus I love this idea. I am always trying to track down the random pieces of paper I’ve jotted notes down on.

I have a few uses already identified.

  • I want to start a series of blogs and videos on email marketing foundations for small business owners, and it would be great to record my notes in creating the blogs and scripts.
  • I have certain work meetings that it would really be helpful to have a transcript of.
  • I am on our local Library Board, and it would be handy to be able to record the meetings for minutes.
  • And finally, I’d love to write/dictate a fiction book for fun!

I plan on using Pocket in a couple of ways, mainly for voice notes regarding a story I am working on.

Work meetings. I work remotely and am on conference calls during the day. Looking forward to being able to pocket all the information and have it all organized!! I currently do use another wearable AI note taker, so looking forward to comparing the differences.

I was just so pleased with my first notes/to-do list I had to make a little video!

Wasn’t sure what I record first. But I received a scam phone call trying to phish for personal information. I used Pocket to record the conversation. The summary was accurate and the transcript was spot on. So far I’m impressed. I’m looking forward to using it for an in depth phone call and see how it handles that.

can you share the video please? I am still awaiting mine : /

I just finished my first “Pocket Meeting”. I let the participants know that I’d be recording it with my new device. The file is syncing right now, and I’m looking forward to viewing the transcript and the summary.

how did you record the call? The lack of instructions is a little frustrating in this community is overwhelming for sure. As far as I understood it. All I had to do is put the pocket on the back of my phone and it would record both sides of the conversation, I tried that it didn’t seem to work. I did have my AirPods in. Am I missing something?

From my understanding, it will not record your call with air pods as it has external mics. Try by making a normal call to your ear. I don’t have mine yet but that is how another company works which I have.
