I know this shipping topic is tired - but

I received notice of shipping - sat idle and came up as “invalid” for about 6 days.

About 4 days ago, it updated to “pre-shipment” - it says shipping label created and waiting for item. Noted as Whittier, California. I am in Palm Springs, California.

We are well beyond the things called out related to delays.

I know that the Pocket team has assured us that tracking numbers are valid and things are moving…but despite USPS not being great at updating, this smells a bit shaky.

Any info is appreciated.

From the time mine said it was in Whittier until I reached me in Oregon was 8 days. Yours should be coming soon, so hang in there!

Info is appreciated. I know USPS is often slow to update, but this one has been a bit extreme. Again, much appreciated.

Yes, but I think the real slowdown comes from the fact that it really doesn’t appear to be USPS until it gets picked up from Whittier (in my case). In fact, the tracking number I originally had was for DHL Ecommerce. When I plugged that number into the USPS system, it couldn’t find it initially. But when it plugged it into DHL Ecommerce, it found it. Then once it left Whittier, I could track it through USPS. Hang on my friend!!!

@jdgonto I’d like to clear up the timeline, as it seems there’s been a small mix-up.

Your order from August 21, 2025 was fulfilled on October 16, which is when the tracking information was sent to your email. That means your parcel has been on its way for just 6 days so far.

On October 19 (3 days after shipment) - the USPS tracking status changed to “Pre-Shipment.” This simply means USPS has received the electronic data and is expecting the parcel. In reality, it’s already in the U.S., currently awaiting customs clearance and local processing before officially entering the USPS delivery network.

I completely understand that the gap between scans can feel concerning, especially since we’re all used to next-day deliveries. However, since these are international pre-orders, this short waiting period between fulfillment and USPS intake is completely normal.

Everything looks exactly as it should at this stage. We just need to allow a bit more time for the next scans to appear. You may have also seen other members mention that they’re seeing the same pattern with this batch, so hopefully that offers a bit more reassurance.

I appreciate everyone chiming in.

Ok…this makes more sense. I put the number into DHL tracking and it’s valid. Thanks for the tip.
