Shipping Timeline Update

We’ve already dispatched the first 5,000 Pocket devices. If you’ve received a tracking number but don’t yet see movement, here’s why:

  • From October 1–7, Hong Kong observes a national holiday. During this handoff period, our courier cannot update tracking scans.

  • Once operations resume, all parcels will begin moving through customs and into final delivery.

If you haven’t received a tracking code yet, that means your order has not yet been handed over to our courier.

At the moment, our production line is on pause due to the National Week holiday in Hong Kong (October 1–7). On top of this, a recent typhoon in Hong Kong temporarily halted production last week. These factors slowed down our ability to move every unit into this first wave of shipments.

We want to be transparent: manufacturing and logistics can be unpredictable. Despite these challenges, we’ve pushed as much volume as possible and successfully dispatched 5,000 units so far. Your order is in line, and we’re working hard to ship the remaining batches as soon as operations resume.

All Pocket orders will be fulfilled by the end of October.

Thank you for bearing with us through these hurdles. We’ll keep you updated as each batch moves forward.

There is no need to worry, our courier has guaranteed these shipments are on track. Every Pocket will make it safely into your hands.

We’re truly sorry we weren’t able to get every single order shipped in the first wave. We hate these setbacks just as much as you do, and we know how long many of you have been waiting.

We know you’ve been patient with us through this journey. As we grow, we’ll continue to optimize shipping so future batches move even smoother.

Thank you for being part of Pocket from the very beginning.

Did you ship to India as well?

@antivirusakash We did take a few early pre-orders from India, but regular shipping isn’t open yet. We’ll be rolling it out in the near future.

I am in the process of moving and may need to change my shipping address if the pocket doesn’t ship until the end of October.

How would I go about changing my shipping address if it won’t ship before I move?

Thanks!

Your website claims Pocket is “Built in San Francisco.” If that is true, why does a week-long holiday in an Asian nation affect shipping?

@holicker Good question.

“Built in San Francisco” is true - the design, software, and assembly oversight are all led here. But the physical manufacturing happens overseas, like with Apple and almost every other hardware company. That’s why a major Asian holiday can pause production or logistics for a week.

It’s the reality of global supply chains: designed here, made with partners abroad.

And you guys couldn’t have known that this Asian holiday was going to be happening and would delay shipment? There was no way to foresee that your promises were not going to come to fruition? Who could have known about this holiday ahead of time?!?!

@vlad Welcome! We appreciate the kind words and glad you liked the UI :folded_hands:

Our team will pick up your ticket and reply asap, and we’ll make sure Pocket ships to the right address.

The national holiday was known ahead of time, and we had scheduled production and shipping to be completed before it began. Under normal circumstances, your Pocket would already be moving.

What we couldn’t plan for was one of the largest typhoons to hit the region in years as you might have seen on the news, which forced over 400,000 people to evacuate and temporarily shut down production. That disruption meant we missed the final window to hand everything over before the holiday pause.

If not for that, we would have met the deadline exactly as promised.

I fell for it but still worried that this is a scam. What some scammers do is take your order (and money) and delay it past the time you can file claim against it on your credit card. From “Built in San Francisco” to delay, delay delay, even going as far as sending a shipping confirmation and then not shipping. Red flags everywhere.

Such a wild take. Everything here is completely normal. They’re out here grinding to try to get orders out on time (in spite of a typhoon) and you’re yapping about “red flags”. Shhhhhhhh.

There are always risk with a brand new product. But I think it’s more that a little premature to start making this kind of claim.

Could be premature and I hope so. But as someone who has been scammed before, I’m a little skeptical when issues develop. If it all comes to fruition, then no one will be happier than I am. It’s a device concept I believe in and have been waiting to receive.

It’s only a wild take if it hasn’t happened to you. I’ve been a victim before and that’s why I’m skeptical. “Built in” and “designed in” mean two different things. Built in alludes to manufactured in. So shhhhhhh yourself.
