When I turn on Pocket, the blue light comes on briefly before the light goes to red blinking for a few seconds and then Pocket turns itself off. I’ve tried the triple click reset several times. When I reset, the blue light re-appears briefly, then goes to red blinks for a few seconds, and then Pocket goes dead again. It’s been charged overnight, so should have plenty of power. Any ideas?

From what you described, it sounds like the device may not be charging properly.
Could you try a different USB-C cable and charger and see if that makes a difference? If the issue persists, please send us a short video via DM showing the behavior. We’ll take a closer look and help you get it resolved.
Tech support at Pocket identified the problem as not being charged directly into a wall plug. The little vampire apparently doesn’t like being charged on my computer 
After that, all issues disappeared.
