Pocket app not working in background?

My typical use is…

  1. Have the meeting
  2. Stop the recording.
  3. Check in some time later to see if the meeting has been summarised.
  4. Notice it’s not even been transferred to my phone yet.
  5. Watch while the app is open, it connects in front of me and starts to transfer.
  6. Check in some time later to see if the meeting has been summarised.
  7. Read the meeting summary.

Doesn’t anyone know how I can cut out steps 4 5 and 6 - i.e. When I stop recording, it transfers immediately, uploads and transcribes, without me doing anything else?

Could you please check if Auto Sync is enabled in the Settings tab? If the app is running in the background and Auto Sync is turned on, your recordings should sync automatically.

Do you mean “Auto Import From Pocket”? yes that is turned on.
“Web Sync” was turned off.
“Auto Summarise” was on.

Could it be a setting in my phone do you think? Its a new pixel 10 - I haven’t messed with any power saving settings, it’s stock..
