📢 Quick Update on Transcription Syncing

Hey everyone!

Some of you may have noticed a few recordings not syncing properly, looking like they were stuck. We’re aware of this and wanted to give you a quick heads up. This has happened to less than 0.5% of total recordings processed.

What you can do now:
If you see a recording that didn’t process correctly, you can resync it yourself — just tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right of the home screen and select resync.

What’s happening:
We’ve identified the root cause and have a fix ready. We’re currently waiting for the App Store update to go live — should be available soon!

We chose not to push a quick patch because it was causing some transcription quality issues (hallucinations/inaccurate outputs).

Hey! Just an update on this 0.5.80 has been released on the App Store and Play Store which lets you resync recordings when this happen so they can process properly!

I can’t get ANYTHING to sync, not even using this method. I went to the app store and I only had the option to open the app, no update. My device is completely useless right now and my week’s worth of meetings are being held hostage. I am having serious buyer’s remorse right now.

Hi there! I also am having trouble. My app is updated and in the apple app store there is no app update needed. For at least a week I have not been able to rely on my pocket. I can record and I will keep checking to be sure it is still recording during the meeting and all will seem fine. But then when I try to finish, it will give me a notification that it could not sync. I think it has even said it failed to record or failed to save? The notification disappers quickly. I can even see the transcript showing up as I am recording and then for some reason it just seems gone. I have a 4 on my Sync and it try for about 30 sec - then says “failed to sync”. Once it seemed to say “no recordings on device” but I still have that 4 on my sync- and many meetings I lost or cannot access.
