Recording Quality

Recording quality is pretty poor. Under perfect conditions it is very muddy and muffled. Do I have bad hardware?

Hey @phdigital please ensure you have the device on conversation mode while recording conversations as the vibration mic on call mode makes the recordings a lot more sensitive to touch. We also post process audio on our end after that so that the best transcription quality is achieved

I’ve verified that conversation mode is on. I have a pro audio background with lots of experience with mics and recordings. My ear says they’re off and can see why and where the transcription would be off. I suspect there is a problem with my hardware. Maybe I can send you some audio samples?
