Has anyone been able to reliably use Wifi Sync? On Android 14 and it just won’t connect to Pocket’s Wifi. I notice there’s a passcode for Pocket’s Wifi network, it never autoconnects when manually triggered. I have tried the DNS settings fix, to no avail.

@mhirrrr I’m also having issues on iOS. Whenever I try to do Wi-Fi sync, I consistently get a “Unable to join Wi-Fi network” message. Sometimes will get the popup to join the network and I’ll hit yes, but sometimes I don’t get it.
WiFi Firmware is at V4 and Firmware is at 0.7. Should I try resetting the device?

My wi-fi is working fine. I’m wondering, are you trying to connect at work so it may be blocked?
WiFi v5 and FW 0.8 has similar issues for me. I get the “unable to join Wi-Fi network” message and then it auto-retries and starts syncing.
I am having the same issue. I am on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26. V4 and Firmware 0.7.
It was tricky to get it to update to wifi V4. I set the DNS to 0.0.0.0 and turned off wifi auto join, as mentioned in the guides, but it didn’t help. I still had to try to upgrade the V4 firmware 5-6 times before it made it to 100% and completed the update.
I also can not sync over Wifi, Bluetooth works, but wifi will hang after a few seconds, just like it did when upgrading to V4.
Okay so @SM7 was onto something. My tailscale VPN was interfering. Turned it off and it worked just fine. Hope to see this fixed, disabling tailscale is a nuisance
I am having the same issue, works fine with Bluetooth. Where do you find the wifi settings for the Pocket, I cannot find it in the app

Running android 16 and I have the same issue. Bluetooth transfers fine but wifi is spotty.

I am on iOS and have seen similar spottiness with wifi sync. I also find myself having to repeatedly hit “Join” to join the wifi and sync on wi-fi. I wish it just remembered my preference and sync’ed when possible.

I’m on iOS and agree with the Wifi syncing issues. Honestly, this is my biggest gripe with this device. The syncing is just so unreliable or takes so long that I find myself using it less. This needs to be fixed asap. There also needs to be a real desktop app. I can’t triage all my notes on mobile. It’s way too cumbersome.

I’ve already upvoted both of those. For what it’s worth, I also find the unreliable sync issues to be my biggest frustration. I’m on a Google Pixel 10 Pro (Andriod 16), so I don’t think the sync issues are OS specific.

@Jaraxal thanks for the upvotes. It helps a lot. I know they are trying to figure the sync issues out. Just remember, now that this thing is “real”, the fun begins with all of the trouble shooting they weren’t able to do on 100 different phone types lol

Agreed @SM7 My feedback isn’t meant to be taken as complaining. As I see it, I’m just another data point to get things smoothed out. Happy to test and validate if I get a better product in the end!

Same here, Wifi just is not working, bluetooth so slow as to be practically unusable running on 0.7 FW and V4 WIFI
