Oh lord, Hong Kong holiday’s and shipping. I forget sometimes. I try to never order anything during Chinese New Year either. No wonder you all are stressing. Moving shipping to August 28th really put a kink in things.
I’m so confused lol… so those of us with a tracking number… our package is or is not impacted by the holiday? Lol. Seems one post will suggest my package is just sitting somewhere and won’t advance at all for a week, and then here it seems you’re suggesting my package (as I’m in the first 5k and have a tracking number) is basically unaffected by the holiday shutdown and it’s moving through the system getting closer to delivery, even though there are no scans for it.
@MrDigital We’re shipping based on when people locked in their spot and how many units they purchased. Keep in mind that some of the very earliest pre-orders were placed through a different platform, which used a separate set of order numbers.
If you haven’t received tracking yet, your Pocket hasn’t been dispatched. It will ship as soon as possible, as noted in the update above.
@megsaint Appreciate that. We spent a long time getting the physical feel and packaging right - minimal, intentional, and clean. It should feel like something worth using every day, not just a gadget.

A protective sleeve or hard-shell case is one of the first things we’re exploring post-ship. MagSafe-compatible mounts, travel cases, maybe even something stealth that blends into your bag or jacket.
Right now the focus is getting everyone’s Pocket in hand.
@tepolzin Thanks! The app is rolling out gradually. Even if you download it now, it won’t be usable without the device. Once your Pocket arrives, you can simply scan the QR code in the manual to download the app directly and get started.
Regarding Pocket Pro, as I mentioned in the other thread, everyone gets 3 months free to try it out. After that, you’ll still keep your lifetime Core features.

If you already have a tracking number, your unit has left the factory. That part is done.
Now, the weirdness: during Golden Week (Oct 1-7), most logistics in Hong Kong is on pause. Warehouses close, customs slow down, couriers barely move. So your tracking might look “stuck” - but it’s not lost. It’s in the system, just caught in the holiday freeze.
Once things reopen, movement resumes and scans will start popping up again.
where is the next video? also, if we get the tracking number but no update or tracking that only means it’s been shipped but not scanned due to the holiday? or it’s in the shipping company on hold until the holiday is over?

It means your parcel has already been shipped out and handed over to the courier, but it’s currently affected by the holiday freeze.

Yes I wondered that too my order number is in #2000s and apparently I’m not in the 5000 batch. Then I thought about it (didn’t love it) but factor in orders that have multiple units coming, ones that are give aways (gotta have disposable inventory) that’s how they can do an unboxing. I took a chance for Pocket and even though something’s I don’t agree with with communication or handling of some things, I’m not part of the hands on team. So I have to let something’s happen as they may. You never know. They may continue to give ones thy consider founders access to even more things as thy start operating in the black. I’m looking forward to trying this compared to the “other” brand which I was an early backer. The unlimited core sold me as the other one limits to 300mins per month which gets used quickly. I couldn’t use the other one as a free thinking assistant as I plan with this one. Now hoping it gets here before a large conference on Nov 1. That will be a great test.

Not many scammers go to the trouble of creating a site like this for folks to connect and interact with them and then invite an entire group of people to join.
Most scammers disappear and keep people isolated. I have messaged the team numerous times and they have always responded in a timely manner and have been very reassuring.

Agree, scammers just disappear into the night without going through all the trouble of answering every question and every comment.
